Here are some questions that customers frequently ask and it's also a little guide to understand the jargon when buying a wheelchair.

Wheel Type:  

There are 2 types of wheels when buying a wheelchair -

A Self Propelled Wheel is a large rear wheel that the user can use themselves by pushing the bar on the outside of the wheel, this doesn't mean that a person pushing cannot push the chair, this allows the user a chance if able to have more independence.

A Transit Wheel is a smaller rear wheel normally around 12" in diameter, these types of wheelchairs are for someone (attendant/carer) to push only.

Seat Size:

Most wheelchairs are in 3 different sizes these are -

Slim Seat -  this is a 16" seat or 40 cm

Standard Seat - this is an 18" seat or 45 cm 

Wide Seat - this is an 20" or 50 cm

Quick Release Rear Wheels:

Most of our self propelled wheelchairs we sell come complete with quick release rear wheel, this allows you to remove the rear wheel within seconds to make the wheelchair smaller to allow it to fit into tighter spaces or a small car boots.

Leg Rests:

All wheelchairs come with leg rests these are removable and height adjustable.

Warranty:

All wheelchairs comes with a 10 year warranty on the frame all other parts are covered with a 1 year warranty, should you need anything under warranty please don't hesitate to contact us, we will ask for your serial number and picture of any issue you are having upon a part being requested.

Delivery Times:

We aim to deliver an item with FREE delivery within 3-5 working days,  we do also offer EXPRESS delivery on selected items these are delivered within 48 hours (if the order is placed Monday to Friday), if the order is placed over the weekend it will be delivered on the Tuesday after (unless its a bank holiday on the Monday) -  charges are applied for EXPRESS delivery.

What If I Want To Return My Item:

You will need to send it back to us within 14 days in its original packaging, and we will issue a refund in full after inspection to ensure it has not been used or damaged (charges maybe applied if the item is used/damaged or is not in its original packaging).

NHS Voucher:

Sadly we do not accept NHS Vouchers.
